In the past, countless mass extinctions killed nearly all life on the planet, yet after each mass extinction, life on earth somehow healed, and grew even beyond its former glory and diversity. This was not a miraculous coincidence, but rather the sole result of something called biodiversity. Biodiversity means life diversity. It is important to clarify that life encompasses all eukaryotes, bacteria, and archaea. This means biodiversity does not refer to animal diversity, nor the diversity of complex life; biodiversity strictly equally includes all life, from microbes to plants to fungi to animals. Seeing or treating biodiversity as anything other than precisely life diversity is objectively incorrect. To restate and reaffirm, biodiversity is life diversity, and life is any eukaryote, bacterium, or archaeon. Random examples of biodiversity include the diversity of micro-organisms inhabiting a section of soil, the diversity of fungi in a forest, the diversity of plants covering a meadow, or the diversity of all within a reef. Biodiversity is necessary for survival. This is because biodiversity alone gives ecosystems both their composition and functions, and ecosystems provide all of the food, water, and resources that we need to survive. Therefore, biodiversity is necessary for survival because it is singlehandedly responsible for providing the things we need for survival. Biodiversity is inherently beautiful. This is because biodiversity naturally provides the brain with more information to observe, which makes the brain feel more fulfilled and engaged. Being beautiful means being consistently stimulating and fulfilling. Therefore, biodiversity is inherently beautiful because it naturally stimulates and fulfills the brain. Biodiversity is the single most important thing in existence because it is necessary for survival. A world without biodiversity would be a world that is dead and ugly. Dead because survival requires biodiversity; ugly because biodiversity is a major source of positive stimulation. There would simply be no life, no ecosystems, and no beauty. Biodiversity gives us everything, and a world without it is fundamentally alien. Unfortunately, such a world without biodiversity is becoming reality. We are currently living through a biodiversity crisis; all around the world, biodiversity is decreasing at a horrifying rate. Since the birth of our species, humanity has been continuously decreasing biodiversity. This has caused most of the world’s issues because biodiversity is related to everything, as a result of being the most important thing in existence. People have realized this, but they try to solve it with pointless things like environmentalism and ideology, yet they fail because the only true solution to everything is increasing biodiversity. This is because most of our issues, such as climate change, failing ecosystems, loss of wonder, resource scarcity, and the erosion of nature, exclusively only exist due to biodiversity loss. Biodiversity loss is the real universal problem behind every other, and increasing biodiversity is the only thing that actually directly solves the core problem. Therefore, increasing biodiversity is the savior of all life on earth. To clarify, increasing biodiversity is a neutral practice that is not related to environmentalism or any ideology; anyone with any belief or goal can practice increasing biodiversity. In summary, biodiversity loss creates all other issues and increasing biodiversity directly solves biodiversity loss while all other solutions do nothing at all. We have just discussed that biodiversity is the most important thing in the world, that it is decreasing, that this is the most serious problem affecting everything, and that increasing biodiversity is the only solution. Therefore, it is obvious that everyone reading this must adopt the practice of increasing biodiversity. Humanity itself needs to become a species of increasing biodiversity, which means that every one of us has to do their part by increasing biodiversity. If people do not increase biodiversity, everything will die. Increasing biodiversity is doing any action that increases the diversity of life within an area. Composting is increasing biodiversity; seeding a diverse variety of wildflowers and plants across a large area is increasing biodiversity; planning and planting entire ecosystems is increasing biodiversity; proper reforestation or afforestation is increasing biodiversity, and so on. To increase biodiversity, people must act directly, socially, and politically. Directly, one should begin with small actions that physically increase biodiversity, and gradually move toward larger ones. For example, one might start by simply turning a lawn into a wildflower meadow, and then slowly progress toward larger projects, such as restoring a debiodiversified forest. Socially, one should openly support increasing biodiversity, encourage everyone to participate, relentlessly spread awareness of this practice, and work with others to directly increase biodiversity. For example, one might create local groups dedicated to increasing biodiversity, and spread awareness about increasing biodiversity through social media or conversation. Politically, one should advocate for, and seek to establish, governments that actively work to increase biodiversity and organize society around doing the same. For example, one might become a politician and work toward increasing biodiversity and establishing a government centered around increasing biodiversity, or help elect such politicians who support increasing biodiversity. It is important that increasing biodiversity is always identified clearly. This means increasing biodiversity should only ever be called increasing biodiversity; it is inherently incorrect and harmful to call it anything else. The very future of Earth depends solely on whether or not we all choose to increase biodiversity. By collectively choosing to practice increasing biodiversity, we build a beautiful world where life and wonder is abundant. After reading this, please save it, reread if necessary, and most importantly, share this with others. Once you have shared this message with everyone you know, gradually start increasing biodiversity using all the information presented. No matter the cost, it is pivotal that people adopt the practice of increasing biodiversity, not only for beauty, but for their own survival. There is no other solution. For the sake of everything, please begin increasing biodiversity.
